i would ask this un-anon but i would feel like too much of a fan girl! I have followed you for a while, & have noticed you worked on a cruiseship, how was that as a whole? & also abit rude to ask but how much does your promo work pay on average? looks like fun! x
Ah don’t be silly you can ask me anything :) the cruise ship work was a nightmare, paid too little and I worked on average 60 -70 hours a week. Got literally 1 day off a month and that was only if I made my target! Ouch.
Promo work is brilliant, depending on the job I get between £10 and £50 an hour x
I remember you worked for Clinique a little while back and I was thinking of applying for a job there myself. Just wondered if you wouldn't mind sharing what benefits/holiday time you got by working for them? Many thanks! x
I can’t remember what holidays I got. The discount was amazing though and they treat you really well, I’d definitely apply if i were you xo
ive always been quite small but it makes it even worse as im around 5'9 to 5'10 so i look even more skinnier or 'lanky' as most people might say. being self conscious has made me worry about the way i look to the opposite sex and that im not good enough, as im tall, skinny, no noobs and have no curves what so ever. do you have any advise on how to deal with what is said from other people as i look up to you as you seem to have the confidence to not show that you care about what people say to you
:( I know how you feel, I’m 5’7’ but most of my friends are curvy and quite short compared to me. The best you can do is hold your head high and be confident! You must ooze elegance being tall and skinny - I think most people who say horrible things are just insecure pricks personally.
I don’t think anyone is truly happy with what they look like, most of the time I want to be smaller and curvier, but when I work with other models I’m often the shortest there and end up searching for the biggest heels I can find.
I definitely do care what people say to me but you must realise that anyone who feels the need to insult you really isn’t worth your time xo
That post really bugged me as well. I'm far from tiny, I'm a UK 18 and it bugs me just as much if someone gives someone my size a hard time if they give a size 6/8 a hard time. Size, in my opinion, should be irrelevant but sadly I guess that's the society we live in... :/
Yeah i completely agree. I don’t understand why people can’t see past size without feeling the need to throw stupid insults around. It shouldn’t have to be either skinny OR curvy, people come in all shapes and sizes. People suck sometimes, but it’s nice to know that not everyone is so shallow! xo
