awh thank you! i don’t spend that much time on it unless i’m getting ready for a night out. I spent a couple of years working with makeup and skincare so I’ve had plenty of training and practise! xoxo

Hey, I normally use Matrix bleaching powder and 30vol/9% peroxide but I recommend you the 40vol/12% as you mentioned that your hair is naturally medium brown. I got my matrix products from a salon, but it’s just as easy to use Jerome Russell B Blonde products as you get a good ratio of powder bleach and peroxide which makes it easier to mix if you haven’t used it before - Although I’d get at least 2 packets if I were you! One isn’t even enough for my roots, nevermind a full head! Just apply to roots first and leave for about 10 minutes, then apply to the rest of your hair and leave for about half an hour, or until you see that the colour has lifted.
Then use either a toner or silver shampoo, the best one I’ve found so far is this one. Apply to roots first though as they are often a bit annoying and take more toning than the ends.
I use ‘desert beige’ doublewear and NW20 in MAC studio fix powder! xoxo
